This was a particularly interesting case, as the candidate initially began their career on the PQS/Consultancy side but had more recently been working with construction companies in a commercial management role. It was clear they had a wealth of skills and experience, but before moving forward, we needed to refine their CV to highlight their core QS expertise and showcase their PQS skill set effectively.
Once their CV was updated, I reached out to a range of consultancies to discuss whether they would be open to my recommendation to meet someone who had been away from the PQS side for a few years. After successfully helping the candidate transition back into the consultancy market, it became evident that their skills would be an excellent fit for a larger practice. Drawing on my relationships with global firms, I was able to help them secure an opportunity with one of the top practices in the world.
